In March 2024, Google will use this new parameter INP to replace the current parameter FID in calculating your “Core Web Vitals” score (which determines if your site follows best practices in terms of technical performance and display speed).

On your website, you might have a good FID, but a bad INP. This might even applies to mobile only, while the desktop version is fine.

What action should you take before March 2024?

If you don’t want your INP performance to impact your organic ranking, you will need to hire a service provider to improve your theme in order to achieve a good INP score on mobile.
